1) Can users easily stop the series if they so desire?
Yes. Each email contains a link to a webpage where they just type in their
email address and hit "remove". In my Impact Lessons I included the
subscribers' email address next to the link to make it super-easy.
2) Can I easily stop someone getting the series if they ask me instead of
doing it themselves?
Yes. You would need to visit the same page and paste in their email address
(or name) to remove them.
3) Is there a limit to the number of autoresponders that can be created?
No. You can have unlimited *personalized* responses in a series...and if you
need several series simply install another copy of the script into a
separate directory...this keeps your "final list" (of everyone who received
the emails from a particular series) separate.
4) How are the autoresponders created, the email addresses chosen, etc.?
The emails are stored in a text file. You can edit the text file through the
web-admin interface simply and easily. The script creates the autoresponders
and mails out personalized messages once per day.
5) Can external scripts communicate with the script to automatically stop
the series or initiate the series from code on an order form - i.e. stop
the series automatically if someone buys what the autoresponder is selling?
No...I hadn't thought of that...but it's a great idea. If I get it
custom-built into the script it will be a free upgrade.
6) What other "special" features does it have?
I'm having my programmer write a "no duplication" subroutine so that if an
email address is submitted twice it is rejected. Again, it will be a free
upgrade.
